Sarah Henzi is an Assistant Professor of Indigenous Literatures in the Department of French and the Department of Indigenous Studies at Simon Fraser University. Her research focuses on Indigenous literatures in English and in French, as well as popular culture and new media.

Her translation into English of An Antane Kapesh's two works, Je suis une maudite sauvagesse (1976) and Qu'as-tu fait de mon pays? (1979) was awarded the 2021 Cole Foundation Quebec Writers Federation Award for Translation.
